Director of the Japan Society of Genetics for Reproductive Medicine, Ph. D., Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
He studied embryological genomics at the MRC Reproductive Medicine Center at Cambridge University in the UK. He has published over 30 SCI papers.
He joined YSYC in 2013 and is responsible for leading the research and development of embryo laboratory technologies. Currently, he serves on the Japanese Standardization Committee for Embryo Culture Technologies.

Mitochondrial replacement therapy research: Exploring mitochondrial replacement therapy for patients with poor egg quality. This research has received support from the Japanese Medical Research Foundation.
