Dr. Datuk Abd Aziz Yahya graduated from MBBS from the University of Malaya in 1982 and became a specialist obstetrics and gynecology department in 1988 after qualifying at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology in London.

He spent another two and a half years at St. Mary's Hospital in London, where he received further training in gynecologic oncology. He is a certified robotic surgeon who has received the necessary training and guidance in Singapore and South Korea. He performed his first robot-assisted hysterectomy in April 2009. Now, he regularly performs robot-assisted gynecologic surgery for benign and malignant diseases.
