Graduated from Kanazawa University School of Medicine in 2000.

worked at the National Kanazawa Hospital and the Tokyo Disaster Medical Center of the National Hospital. He joined the Kato Women's Hospital in 2007.

After serving as Minister of Medical Affairs, he has served as Dean since 2013 and as General Hospital Director of Shanghai Yongxing Gynecology Hospital since 2016.
