1. AMH value: the "inventory table" of ovarian reserves
AMH (Anti-Mueller Hormone) is a key indicator for assessing ovarian reserve function, which directly reflects the "inventory" of eggs. Normal values for AMH range from 2- 6.8 ng/ml
Warning sign: If the AMH value is below 2ng/ml, it indicates that ovarian function is declining and the number of eggs is reduced. More aggressive intervention or personalized ovulation promotion programs may be needed.
Extreme cases: When the AMH value is less than 0.06ng/ml, it is not absolutely hopeless and needs to be comprehensively evaluated in conjunction with other indicators.
Note: AMH values only reflect egg number, not quality. Elderly women (such as over 35 years old) should pay attention to the risk of declining egg quality even if their AMH is normal.
2. Six sex hormones: a barometer of endocrine secretion
Six sex hormones are examined on the 2nd-3rd day of menstruation to reveal the balance of ovarian function and endocrine secretion. Focus on the following three items
④ FSH (follicle stimulating hormone)
A FSH between 1 and 9 IU/L indicates good ovarian function.
If FSH is higher than 10 IU/L, it indicates that ovarian responsiveness is reduced and the success rate may be reduced.
④ FSH/LH ratio
A ratio close to 1 (e.g., 0.8-1.2) indicates that ovarian function is coordinated.
A ratio greater than 2 may indicate decreased ovarian function and needs to be further evaluated in conjunction with AMH.
④ E2 (estradiol)
Normal values are 25-50pg/ml. If E2 is higher than 50pg/ml, it may indicate a poor ovarian response or premature follicular development.
Prompt: If hormone levels are abnormal (such as too high FSH or abnormal LH/FSH ratio), it may be related to polycystic ovary syndrome or premature ovarian failure, and targeted conditioning is needed.
3. Uterine color ultrasound: "scouts" in the implantation environment
Uterine color ultrasound evaluates the quality of the "soil" for embryo implantation by observing the number of follicles, endometrial thickness and uterine cavity status
③ Number of follicles
The number of antral follicles of 10-20 is an ideal range. Too few (such as less than 5) may require adjustment of the ovulation promotion plan. Too many (such as more than 20) require vigilance against the risk of ovarian overstimulation.
③ Intimal thickness
An intimal thickness of 8-12mm at the time of transplantation is most conducive to implantation. Any too thin (7mm) or too thick (14mm) requires medication or hysteroscopic intervention.
④ Intrauterine cavity environment
Problems such as polyps, adhesions, and fibroids can directly affect implantation, and treatment such as hysteroscopy is needed to improve the environment.

④ Personalized conditioning
People with low ovarian function can be supplemented with nutrients such as coenzyme Q10 and vitamin D under the guidance of a doctor; people with abnormal endometrium need to improve blood flow through medication or physical therapy.
④ Lifestyle intervention
Quit smoking and alcohol, control BMI between 18.5 and 23.9, reduce staying up late and stress, and help optimize the quality of sperm and eggs.
◆ Technology choices
Patients with repeated failures or advanced age can consider three-generation test tube technology (PGT) to screen embryos with normal chromosomes
Through the AMH value, six sex hormones and three indicators of uterine color ultrasound, both couples can establish a scientific understanding of the success rate of test tube. However, it should be noted that these indicators are only preliminary assessments, and the final plan needs to be formulated by a professional doctor based on factors such as age and medical history. Active conditioning, rational evaluation, and selection of formal institutions are the key steps towards success.
